A Celebration of Heritage on Road & Rail

On 3rd May, join us for Classics & Steam - a wonderful celebration of heritage on road and rail.

Enjoy a display of classic vehicles at both our Aylsham and Wroxham stations, perfectly paired with the sights, sounds and atmosphere of our steam trains in action. It’s a fantastic day out for transport enthusiasts, families and anyone who loves a touch of nostalgia.

Classics & Steam

Join us for a full day of classic vehicles and steam on Sunday 3rd May, starting from 10am.

Classic vehicles will be displayed in the station car parks at both Aylsham and Wroxham Stations, with a varied line-up expected including classic cars, motorcycles, vintage commercial and agricultural vehicles, American classics, and custom or restored enthusiast vehicles.

Steam trains will be running between the stations throughout the day, making it easy to visit both displays. The last train departs Wroxham at 14:15, with the final departure from Aylsham at 16:00. Please check our timetable for any changes.

The Whistlestop Café will be open for refreshments, and both the Gift and Model Shop will be welcoming visitors during the event.

Practical Information

Free parking and toilet facilities are available at both Aylsham and Wroxham stations. There is space for buggies on our trains, however this is limited, so we recommend travelling with collapsible pushchairs where possible. Dogs are also welcome on trains for a small additional charge for most events but please double check. Our stations are level access and ramps can be provided for step-free boarding. For full details, please see our Accessibility page. Please let us know in advance if assistance is required.
